Social Media Video Editor

We are looking for a Social Video Editor who specializes in creating high-performing short-form ads for paid social platforms.

This role focuses on speed, clarity, and performance-driven editing, not cinematic storytelling. You will produce 30–60 second video ads optimized for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and other social media channels.

You will work from scripts and shot lists to assemble compelling ad creatives designed to capture attention and drive conversions.

If you understand direct-response video editing, hook optimization, and social ad formats, this role is for you.

We are looking for editors who are comfortable working within clear briefs and structured ad formats.

Editing & Creative Tools

Candidates should be proficient in one or more of the following:

Video Editing

  • Adobe Premiere Pro
  • DaVinci Resolve

Motion Graphics / Animation

  • Adobe After Effects (basic motion graphics)
  • Premiere motion graphics templates

Design / Asset Preparation

  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Canva (optional but useful)

Audio

  • Basic voiceover editing
  • Audio cleanup and leveling

Social Ad Platform Knowledge

  • Understanding of Meta ad creative best practices
  • Experience editing for:
    • 4:5 feed formats
    • 9:16 vertical formats
    • mobile-first viewing
    • safe zones for captions and UI overlays
  • Familiarity with direct-response ad structure, including:
    • Hook
    • Problem
    • Product demonstration
    • Call-to-action

Minimum Qualifications

Must-Have Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
  • Ability to deliver fast turnaround edits (24–48 hours)
  • Experience editing performance marketing ads (not just organic social or brand videos)
  • Understanding of Meta ad formats and platform requirements
  • Experience with captioning and subtitle design for social ads
  • Ability to execute briefs independently without heavy supervision
  • Able to work onsite Ortigas Pasig and hybrid upon regularization

Strongly Preferred

  • Experience editing voiceover-led B-roll ads (e.g. AI-style ad formats)
  • Strong understanding of hook structures and attention retention
  • Previous work with ecommerce or Direct to consumer brands
  • Basic motion graphics skills (text animations, product highlights, callouts)
